Condo is only a short walk from North End Fishing Pier and High Tide Parlor and beyond that is uninhabited beach for the best walks on the island. It's fun to watch the fisherman, or fish from the pier yourself, exceptional vistas and sunsets seen from the pier! Freeman Park beach right there for great long walks along the surf! It's really beautiful. Nice dog friendly area in CB. A well behaved and groomed, housebroken pet of medium to smaller size is welcome to travel along with you, for an Additional Charge...a pet is welcome at the condo and on on our beaches before 9:00am or after 5:00pm during peak season and north of the pier all day any day of the week. Can also get to Freeman park with a short walk down Carolina Beach Ave.

When to book & When to go:

  • In the Southport area, The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are booked very early. Reserving your vacation home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • To get the largest rental home within budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at Southport restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast?   • Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at departure. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on good ratings to propel more bookings. They'll be grateful for your review.
