Recently modernized bungalow, in a low key friendly beach town. Imagine opening the front door and having sunrise vistas from the front porch. Drink coffee or do yoga, before walking 1/2 block to the beach access ramp, for a day of fun. Located 3/4 of a mile from OIB center with stores, fishing pier, and eateries. This 1,000 sq.ft. Cottage features 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a sleeping porch. There are T.V.'s in every room, 2 a/c units, wood floors, and wall to wall ship lap. Step back in time to when Ocean Isle was first developed with prints from the 1960’s, record player, and retro style modest appliances. Back deck has a table to appreciate local seafood or a low country boil. Parlor chairs to soak up the sun. The backyard has a seating area for you to savor drinks, while grilling todays catch.

• Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, television set or washer/dryer. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents lots of problems.
• Lock your rental while you are away. Protect your property!
• Note any issues with the property during check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be valuable if damages are attributed to your stay.
• Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors bothering your peace and quiet. Practice the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would've never otherwise known!
• Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
• At departure, complete a walk-through to confirm you did not forget anything. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
• Did you have a great stay? Many rental managers make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
