About this Property

Windward home can accommodate a total of 14 people with 5 bedrooms, each having its own full bath. The bedrooms can sleep 12 people with beds including 2 Queens, 1 AMAZING KING, and 2 Full/Twin bunk beds (each sleeping 3). There is also a Queen sized sleeper couch in the living room and an additional half bath on the main floor. The kitchen is completely supplied and there is a full laundry room. The living/dining area is an open design and leads to the outdoor space which is also accessible from the master bedroom on the first floor. 

Windward is just right for families and extended families who want to appreciate time at the beach, but still have other activities and opportunities close by. The beach is 70 steps away and can be seen from the outdoor space so there are no roads to cross or distances to carry chairs, umbrellas, etc.The Community of Carolina Beach offers outdoor movies and concerts in the summer, fireworks every Thursday nighttime, a farmers market on Saturdays, tons of eateries and other activities.The Carolina Beach State Park offers 6 miles of hiking trails, nature walks, picnic area by the waterway and boat ramp.Wilmington, the biggest city in Southeastern NC is about 20 mins. away. 

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE INCLUDES: Linens (including comforters, blankets, pillows), unit protection waiver and departure cleaning (not supplied with monthly units). Absolutely no events such as weddings, sororities,fraternities, bachelor or bachelorette events etc... NO Smoking. No family dogs and cats. Stairs on premises, no elevator. Available for rent by the week during the summer months Saturday - Saturday. Monthly reservations during the off season (mid -Sept to mid - May).

**Paper towels and toilet tissue, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, beach towels, and any specialty items are NOT supplied and would need to be brought with you, or bought once you arrive on the island.

ENHANCED CLEANING: We follow CDC cleaning guidelines and ensure all high touched areas have been wiped down with disinfectant spray.

GUEST ACCESS: Electronic entry. Our units are individually owned and our visitors will have use of the entire unit!

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE: 
SUMMER CHECK-INS begin at 4:00PM and end at 6:00PM. Topsail Beach office ends at 5:00PM. OFF SEASON CHECK-INS: begin at 3:00PM and end at 5:00PM. Guests arriving, after office closing time, must contact our office to arrange for a late key pickup. 

CHECK OUT: Is before 10:00AM. We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Our south end beaches offer tons of experience as well. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Annual off- season events that include Boardwalk activities are Christmas by the Sea and the Island of Lights Festival.
