PROPERTY DETAILS
This property comes entirely supplied with all the amenities you will need to have a comforting and calming vacation. Conveniences begin with covered parking and lighting for up to 6 cars. There is a private pool (pool heating option available for an additional cost, please see "Important Information" for more details), tiki bar, and an outdoor shower. Intelligent TVs are located in every bedroom and in the main living areas on both floors. The first floor has a convenient wet bar, with a sizable deck that features an ocean view. The second floor has a huge open living area, featuring another enormous deck with a impressive view. This home is very roomy and the elevator makes this home handicap friendly. To make your stay with us feel a little more like home, this property includes a charcoal grille and a second full sized refrigerator located on the ground level. Additionally, this home comes with six (6) beach chairs for you and your event to utilize at your leisure as well as an EV outlet. All Stellar Beach units include bed and bath linens for all stays. This home has keyless entry.

CANCELLATION POLICY
You may cancel any reservation and receive a full refund of all amounts paid if you notify Stellar Beach in writing (by e-mail or letter) of your intention to cancel the reservation at least ninety (90) days prior to the check-in date. In the event that you cancel your reservation within ninety (90) days of your check-in date, for any or no reason, (including the failure to pay the final payment due 90 days before the stay), including inclement weather, you shall not be eligible for a refund of any payments made to Stellar Beach.

We offer Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) Trip Insurance which covers you 100% of Trip Cost up to $100,000 if your cancellation reasons fall within the 30+ standard cancellation reasons (listed above) and 60% reimbursement if your cancellation reason does not fall within the 30+ standard cancellation reasons. The cost of CFAR Trip Insurance is 10.8% of the total booking price. Money saving strategies:

  • To find the best vacation home for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Southport attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • In the Southport area, The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Booking your rental home six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.

  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly rental. Ask for details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Usually, hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.

Tips for your stay:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Save the instructions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
  • Document any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately contact the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be valuable if damages are assessed.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent lots of problems.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors disrupting your home life. Use the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and places you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Lock your rental property while you're gone! Don't let burglars ruin your trip.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
