NEWLY RENOVATED--This is our family beach home. We hope that you will adore our striking home as much as we do! We modernized it over 2019 and 2020 and are now renting the home on a limited basis.

The Poisson Beach House features an open floor plan living room on the third floor with vaulted ceilings and vistas of the sound and ocean. The handsome tile on the wood fireplace and wet bar was imported from Italy. The open kitchen is completely supplied and accepts you to be social and prepare a killer meal at the same time. There is a handsome half bath on the third floor available to your guests. There is also a huge master suite on the third floor with a four-poster bed and en suite bath. The master bedroom opens to a porches on both the ocean and sound side of the home.

The home is just as comfortable outside as it is inside. The eight porches will allow your family to take full advantage of the sea air during your stay. Each bedroom opens onto its own porch, as does each living space. The main porch is located on the third floor of the home on the ocean side. It features a comfortable outdoor sectional that is ideal for calming and appreciating your coffee or a beverage. There is also a hammock chair and benches for additional seating. The rear porches are great for enjoying some yoga or a good book. The rear upper porch off of the dining area is screened and has a table and chairs to allow you to dine al fresco. There is also an effortlessly accessible gas grille on this porch that is convenient to the kitchen.

The second floor of the home has a game room complete with TV, pool table, card table and couch for relaxing. There are three bedrooms on the second floor, each with its own en suite bathroom. One bedroom features two twin beds, another bedroom features a full bed, and the third bedroom features two queen sized beds. The twin and full bedrooms open to an outdoor living area on a screened in porch.

There is no need to worry about carrying your suitcases and groceries up all of the stairs because the property features an elevator. The elevator is available for use by guests, but we ask that kids not be allowed to use the elevator unsupervised.

Under the home we provide you with all of the amenities you will need for a fun beach stay. We provide beach chairs, two beach cruisers, a beach umbrella, beach toys, body boards, a frisbee and a portable volleyball set. There is also a regulation ping pong table ideal for friendly family fun. Our outdoor shower will allow you to clean off before returning to the home at the end of the day. We are located just a short walk from the beach or from the sound. This home has brought us a lot of joy over the years, and we are excited to share it with you. Our home has been meticulously maintained, no family pets please!

About the Area

Located in Wilmington, this vacation home is near the beach. Poplar Grove Plantation and Sloop Point Plantation are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Figure Eight Island and Ogden Park. Traveling with kids? Consider New Hanover County Arboretum, or check out an event or a game at Trask Coliseum.
