The best place to get away from it all is at A Sea View Cottage! Savor the private backyard pool (pool heating available) or hop in the golf cart to roll to one of two convenient public beach accesses. This ocean view home in west beach accepts up to two dogs per reservation year round.

Charming, cavernous and sunny, refreshed home offering a sizable, open living and dining area. Kitchen features stainless appliances, wine refrigerator, granite countertops and dishwasher. Laminate floor throughout, tiled bathroom floors, stacked front loading washer and dryer. This home is also equipped with wireless internet throughout, streaming capabilities and a DVD player with plenty of DVD's to choose from.

Wake up with a cup of coffee on the front porch, which features ocean vistas! Full front side sun and back covered decks (lower deck with TV). Other outdoor amenities include and outside shower, covered parking and beach access just steps away. All this with an impressive view!

The golf cart can be used by guests with an additional $250 fee. Outdoor elevator on the property is not for guest use.

Guests should note that an additional pool heating fee is required for each day a guest requests pool heating. Guest must request the pool heating and pay the fee by calling the OIA office during normal business hours at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Pool heating is only available when temperatures are 55 degrees Fahrenheit and warmer.

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Holden Beach and Ocean Isle Beach.   • Property managers typically offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection.   • Keep the property locked while you are gone! Don't let crooks ruin your vacation.
  • Just prior to departing, complete a final walk-through to make sure you did not leave anything behind. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a terrific time? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear it.
