Depending on the season, you might hook into Amberjack, Red Snapper, King Mackerel, Blacktip Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Cobia, Gag Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Bluefish, Great Barracuda, Vermilion Snapper, Mahi Mahi, and whatever else takes the bait. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Capt. Tyler welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

You’ll step aboard a 30’ Contender center console with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures and live bait.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
