Arrowhead Park

Arrowhead Park is a fun destination for Wilmington locals and visitors alike to take a break from the waves, and dive into a little outdoor entertainment outside the waterfront realm. Located just south of the heart of the Wilmington, and easy to access via Carolina Beach Road, this free public park has a little something for everyone, including a disc golf course, playground and recreation equipment, picnic shelters, and  plenty of room to move.

Arrowhead Park is arguably most popular with the avid disc golf community, thanks to its par 3 and 18-hole course that offers a short-game challenge for experienced players, as well as a solid introduction to the sport for new and curious participants. Visitors don’t have to love disc golf to appreciate the park, however, as there are lots of sporty outlets for outdoors fans, including two tennis courts that are available on a first-come basis, first-serve, a full court basketball court, and a multi-age playground. There’s also an accommodating picnic shelter at the park for big gatherings, which includes six 6’ tables and a grill which can accommodate 36 park-goers. With lots of ways to have fun, Arrowhead Park is helping Wilmington locals and visitors alike stay active and entertained.
