Caprice Bistro

Caprice Bistro is Wilmington’s go-to for incredible martinis and French cuisine in the heart of the Downtown area. Found within a classic brick building, and boasting two levels of dining, (including an upstairs bar that’s popular with the post-theater crowd), Caprice is the destination of choice for romantic evenings out, or just a little something different and refreshingly elevated.

The menu features a host of options, including more than a dozen appetizers and salads, freshly prepared crepes, “Moules” or mussel dishes, entrees, and small plates. Patrons with a lighter appetite or who like to share can dive into the French cuisine with smaller options like the rich cheese board, the pork cheeks, or the regionally famous sausage of the day, which always comprises of a new and unique protein. Meanwhile, hungrier patrons can sample a range of decadent French standards, like the Coq au vin, the Duck Confit, or the locally-inspired grouper with potato brandade and a Provencal vinaigrette. All of these options can pair nicely with a French wine, or one of Caprice Bistro’s famed martinis, which come in countless and tasty varieties, from fresh citrus to lavish chocolate.

Offering a dining experience that’s unique in this corner of Downtown Wilmington, Caprice Bistro will appease any appetite for elevated French cuisine.
