Franks Pizza

Enjoy an easy meal without ever leaving the boardwalk with a stop at Franks Pizza. Serving Carolina Beach vacationers for more than 40 years, this casual pizza joint has satisfied generations of families with big floppy slices that are more than enough to cure a ravenous post-beach appetite.

The menu is surprisingly more varied that just the traditional pizza pie, but the most beloved item at Frank’s is easily the pizza by the slice. Patrons can settle into a cool indoor table and chow down on plate-sized pieces of pepperoni or cheese pizza, or can enjoy a full 16” or 18” pie to feast on which comes in both red and white varieties, and which can be topped with nearly 20 meaty or veggie toppings. There’s also a nice selection of salads, including an Antipasto and Chef Salad, as well as a selection of hot subs, like meatball, Chicken Parm, roast beef, and Italian. For something that’s over-the-top filling, opt for one of Frank’s baked specialties, like the Sausage roll, the Ham Calzone, or the Stromboli with pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and mozzarella cheese. With big portions all around, Boardwalk explorers who pop into Frank’s can enjoy a big dose of Italian comfort food that’s just a shell’s throw from the oceanfront.
