Embark on a fishing trip that’s close to home but which targets some larger-than-life catches with a fishing trip that’s commandeered by Live Line Charters. This local charter business specializes in deep water jigging for all species, Gulfstream trolling for blue water species, and live bait techniques, providing a hands-on experience for anglers who want to get their toes wet in the exceptional Cape Fear fishing scene.
The vessel, “Live Line,” is a 31’ ft. long Contender center console that’s powered by twin F300 Yamaha 4-Strokes. The boat is rigged with 50 and 40 gallon live wells for plenty of live bait storage, and is comfortably accommodating for up to 4 passengers. Once on board, passengers will be guided Captain Mike Jackson, a USCG licensed and insured captain with 30 years of saltwater fishing experience that ranges from Giant Atlantic Bluefin Tuna off of Cape Cod to flats fishing in the Florida Keys. Based out of Wilmington, anglers from Wrightsville Beach to the heart of the downtown area will always be minutes away from starting a fishing adventure. With a great combination of expertise and a fine ride for catching the big ones, Live Line Charters is a solid option for easy offshore fishing.
