Niche Kitchen & Bar

Despite the name, the Niche Kitchen & Bar actually caters to veritably all tastes with a unique menu that combines classic tapas, sandwiches and entrees with inspired and coastal flavors. With a relaxed setting and a somewhat central location in the heart of Wilmington’s Monkey Junction, Niche Kitchen & Bar is the place to go for a world of options and inherently colorful and modern fare.

The menu is extensive from start to finish, and newcomers may have an initially difficult time of deciding where to begin. For a little sample of everything, complemented by an impressive wine list and beer menu, patrons will want to go with a round of tapas. These small plates include local favorites like herbed hummus and beer battered pickle spears, as well as more unique specialties like crispy shrimp kabobs with Sriracha, and blue crab dip with crostini. The cheese plates, which feature warm brie, fresh Buffalo Mozzarella and Vermont Cheddar, are also worth a look, and the dinner entrees, like the baby back ribs and Spaghetti Montreal with smoked salmon, will satisfy any hungry diner.

With plenty of traditional dishes that are elevated with a nice dose of creativity, Niche Kitchen & Bar will be a favorite go-to for Cape Fear locals and visitors with a craving for heightened cuisine.
