Located in the sunny town of Sunset Beach, and just 20 minutes or so north from the Grand Strand, Sandpiper Bay Golf and Country Club is home to three classic 9-hole Carolina golf courses – the Sand Course, the Piper course, and the Bay course – which all offer a high quality golfing experience. The Bay Course is the newest of Sandpiper Bay’s three nines, and features lots of natural water hazards and strategically placed ponds. The Piper Course is the second of Sandpiper Bay’s original two nines, and features gentle dog legs and elevated tees and greens. Meanwhile, the Sand Course has elevated tees and greens, and veers through a natural pine forest. All three courses are enjoyable, with pristine local scenery, and present a full 27 holes of play for golfers who want to tackle all three in a single sunny afternoon. Beautiful year-round and open to the public, the Sandpiper Bay Golf and Country Club is a budget-friendly destination for South Carolina and North Carolina coastal vacationers alike.
