Sweet N Savory Café

There’s always something sumptuous to discover at Sweet N Savory Café – an artful little eatery that’s found on the edge of Wilmington’s Landfall Park, and the River to the Sea Bikeway. The interior is vibrant and colorful, with bright pieces of artwork and décor, which perfectly suits the often surprising breakfast, lunch and dinner menus.

First-time visitors will want to bypass the large selection of traditional fare, and go right for the more unusual dishes. For breakfast, this includes a host of “Morning Entrees,” like the Banks Channel with grilled shrimp, mozzarella, and Pico de Gallo, the Carnivore’s Creation with bacon, country ham, sausage and cheddar, or the Alaska with seared salmon, tomato, parmesan, dill and Hollandaise sauce. The lunch and dinner menus are equally exciting, with a host of lunchtime salads that are topped with seafood and veggies, or classic southern dishes like shrimp and grits, crab cakes, and slow roasted prime rib. Above all else, save room for dessert, which changes regularly and is made in-house daily. (Try the cobbler or pie of the day for something seasonal, or the Chocolate Brownie Meltdown to truly indulge.)

Surprisingly filling and hearty throughout, Sweet N Savory Café lives up to its name by shining a spotlight on delicious all-day fare that will whet any appetite.
