A veritable world of artists make a visit to the UNCW Cultural Arts Center – a centrally located auditorium and performing arts center that features some of the best performances in the Port Coty. Situated in the heart of the UNCW campus, and featuring both local talents and nationally recognized performers, this collegiate institution sets the stage for world-class entertainment.
The roster of performers who take the stage change every year, and every season can present a wide range of talented musicians, dancers and dance troupes, actors, bands, and everything in between. Past and upcoming artists at the UNCW Cultural Arts Center include the Vienna Boys Choir, the Houston Ballet, and special performances by the Marcus Roberts Trio, Norman Bemelmans + Elizabeth Loparits, and Ricky Skaggs. Each performance is varied and different, ensuring that visitors of all tastes will find an artist to admire, and tickets for each event can be purchased well in advance online, (although patrons will want to hurry as many of the performances sell out quickly after they are announced.) From bluegrass to blues, and spoken word to modern dance, the world of culture and arts available in Wilmington is fully represented at the UNCW Cultural Arts Center.
