When to visit Oak Island & When to book:

  • Summer time is high season in the Southport area. Reserve your Southport rental home in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • In the Southport area, The earlier you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked early. Booking your rental property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
