When to visit & When to book:

  • The sooner your group can book, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • Summer months are high season in the Southport area. To find the best rental home within your budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Southport attractions. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection.
