Looking for a true beach bungalow for your next visit to Oak Island? A comfortable, oceanfront getaway that evokes that oceanside vacation experienced as a kid? With gorgeous pine paneling, tons of character and impressive décor, this inviting home features both ocean and sound vistas.
The first-floor downstairs ensuite bedroom (king, twin, and double futon) has its own private entrance, and an inside doored entry to the staircase leading up to the upper main floor, where the five additional bedrooms (1 king, 2 twins, 1 twin-over-double bunk bed, and 3 queens) are located. The open concept main floor - living room, dining room and kitchen - accepts for families to appreciate being together inside, and extends outside onto the porch, where one can savor the sights and sounds of both sky (birds, clouds, stars) and ocean (ships, wildlife, surf) from the covered deck.
The home is ideally located for bicycle rides to the West End’s The Point to watch the glorious sunsets, or to grab a craft beer and pub food, live music and corn-hole at The Lone Rider Tap Room, a five-min. walk. Other amenities include a five-min. drive to the Beach Pantry or a 10-min. drive to the Pier for fishing. The bungalow is equipped with tons of games, puzzles and a enormous collection of books. And of course, for those who need it, high-speed internet is supplied.
Those with allergies should note that allow family pets are not allowed for guests stays, both cats and dogs may be present during owner reservations.
