Supplied to all Shoes Off guests with our compliments are linens, bath and beach towels, bath tissue, paper towels and trash bags. We have a well-equipped kitchen with service for 10 people. We maintain an open guest cabinet in the kitchen with an array of cooking spices, oil, coffee filters and more. We've rented beach homes in the past that were completely void of most everything………Not a paper towel, salt-shaker or roll of TP in sight. We are pleased to offer you the opposite of that. Just bring your bathing suit, your flip-flops, your favorite refreshment, your iPad/Pod and a good book. Our home is designed on a reverse floor plan with living, cooking/dining, screened porch areas and amazing ocean vistas on the 3rd floor. The home features two master suites, and two other bedrooms on the 2nd level, all with direct deck access and ocean vistas from each bedroom. One bedroom is specifically arranged for kids, featuring TWO sets of bunk beds. We also provide one high-chair and one pack and play. On the deck, just outside of the 3rd floor kitchen/living area door is a 48” stainless steel gas grille than can handle outdoor cooking for the biggest of families or groups. We offer enormous flat screen monitors and Spectrum cable TV in all of the bedrooms. The 3rd floor living area features a 55" LED TV, Spectrum cable and a Bose Lifestyle System audio home theater with Bluetooth audio connectivity. Wireless internet access is included throughout the home, with a signal that can reach the beach if that's of interest. The fishing from the beach is sometimes superb to amazing. We recommend that you unplug instead and take a fishing rod!

We provide bicycles for kids and adults. We can provide you with information for kids's day camps at the Bald Head Island Club and the Bald Head Island Conservancy. Both offer terrific kids's programs and can provide Mom and Dad with a few hours of tranquility and peaceful, one of the real beauties of a vacation on Bald Head Island. Vehicular transportation on the island is limited to golf carts. We offer one 6-seat cart and one 4-seat golf cart. The photographs of Shoes Off hardly do the place justice. It's simply an exceptional home for your family and friends to relax, relax, getaway and recharge.

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Bald Head Island Information Center. Get the most from your spending budget:

• Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Summer months are the most expensive season in the Southport area. To book the best rental for your budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your group qualifies for a discount.
