This bungalow was my grandmothers. It was constructed in 1940. It is well adored. It has been refreshed with multiple new appliances, a dishwasher and washer/dryer. Flat screen intelligent TV's are mounted in the living room and both bedrooms ready for you to log in with your streaming services or local channels with the antennas. Wifi is supplied. It has a new Ashley sectional couch. Both bedrooms have comfortable queen beds. Linens and towels are included. There are great lake vistas from back screened porch. The front porch is also screened. It is a short walk to the beach, boardwalk, eateries and stores.

About the Area

Located in Carolina Beach, this cottage is on the waterfront. Carolina Beach Boardwalk is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. Carolina Beach Arcade and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School are also worth visiting.

When to go & When to book:

  • Summer months are high season in Carolina Beach. To get the most suitable rental home within budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at popular Southport attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • In the Southport area, The earlier your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your rental six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all personal items. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to propel future reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review.
