Summary:
Welcome to Sea Grace 2 , this definitely adorable freshly modernized 3 bed/ 2 bath condo overlooking the elegant Atlantic Ocean. Be lulled to sleep with the sounds of the waves in a king size master bedroom and wake to the sunrise over the Atlantic on your private front porch! Located to all things Carolina Beach: cycling, kayaking, fishing charters, hiking at the CB State Park and our famed boardwalks and fishing piers with great eateries and shopping. Downtown Wilmington is 45 mins away!

The Space:
This is a 2nd floor unit.
There is no elevator.
The pool is located just behind the condo. The HOA opens the pool mid April and closes typically the second week in September, depending on weather

Guest Access:
Assigned parking, please display parking pass inside condo. There is room for 2 cars, however the carport is shared with another condo. Guest's phone number must be left on pass incase you block another car. There are also some spots by the pool in the back that are first come first serve. We highly recommend seeing if one of those is available when you get there as it is much easier to get in and out of. We are grateful our HOA gives us 2 spots complimentary but unfortunately can do nothing about the parking in tandem. Thank you for understanding.

Other Things to Note:
We also supply the following for each property:
A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everybody has their own preferences for these =) Please review our home rules prior to your stay

There is a Beach re-nourishment done in Carolina and Kure beach every 3 years. This helps to keep our beaches safe from erosion. Please note that we have no control over this project and that it is normally concluded by May, but there is a possibility of delays.

About the Area

Carolina Beach is home to this apartment. Carolina Beach Boardwalk is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. Carolina Beach Arcade and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School are also worth visiting.

Money saving strategies:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in the Southport area. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring is a great way to save on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers typically offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.

  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers disrupting your peace and quiet. Use the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Lock your rental property while you are away! Don't let burglars spoil your vacation.
  • Just before checking out, complete a final walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a terrific vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
