Yosake

Yosake is a chic little sushi bar, Asian fusion restaurant, and after-hours lounge that has an equally cool atmosphere, menu, and location in the heart of Downtown Wilmington. Located on the second floor of a historic building, with dark tables, a sushi bar, and authentic wood flooring and brick walls, this establishment retains the feel of historic Wilmington, but utilizes utterly modern food and drink flavors.

The menu is creative, and goes well beyond the typical Asian or Japanese cuisine. Diners can start off a meal, or enjoy a lighter bite, by surveying the long list of street food and starters, which includes surprising finds like Edamame Hummus, Banh Minis, and chicken and jalapeno egg rolls. This unique blend of global flavors is found throughout the rest of the menu as well, in Yosake’s tasty line-up of soups and salads, curries, standards (like Pad Thai and Lo Mein), and favorites, like Sweet & Sour Chicken, or the Yosake Kobe Burger. When coupled with a specialty cocktail, martini, or sake, patrons will effectively explore all the flavors of Asia while still remaining close to home. Unique and offering a host of specialty rolls and main entrees, diners of all-sized appetites and palettes will surely find something to love at Yosake.
