When to book & When to go:

  • In the Southport area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our best tip for saving money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Some hosts offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection.
