Step outside and you’re a short walk from the Riverwalk, local stores, and eateries. With one off-street parking space supplied, it’s an simple and inviting place to come home to; ideal for a casual stay with a bit of personality in the heart of it all.

The historic carriage home sits tucked off of Orange st, and shares a backyard with the main home.

20 mins. to Wrightsville beach, 26 mins. to Carolina beach, 37 mins. to Fort Fisher historic area!

The main home and carriage home have been under restoration processes for the past year. We invite you to be part of the history and future of the Harriss James Carriage home. While the restoration process on the main and carriage home are ongoing, the efforts will not impact a relaxing stay!

Guests have access to the entire unit and all closets. Please feel complimentary to open all cabinets and cubbies.

Please note that there is currently no designated exterior seating area for this space other than the modest landing at the top of the stairs. The Harriss-James home is a work in progress, and units A and B are our first finished space that we are so excited to offer!!

We are hopeful to have outdoor spaces available for guests soon.

There is one designated compact off-street parking space for unit B. If you have a sizable car you will likely have to park on the street.

Street parking on our block of Orange st is complimentary, and is first come first serve!
