Hi & Welcome to our beautiful home away from home in Oak Island NC!!!

Come & Anchor Down to get so much needed calming time, soak up in the Atlantic ocean, savor all the phenomenal seafood & don't forget the ice cream!!!

Our home is located in a prime location near Middleton Park (appreciate live entertainment spring to fall, food trucks, water pad for kids & of course the beach). It is conveniently located with in less than a mile to grocery stores & many local eateries, shopping as well as access to a public boat ramp. Beach is accessible directly down the street with in 10 min walk or 3-5 min golf cart ride.

About the Area

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Oak Island Golf Club and The Clubs at St. James. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting.

Get the most from your rental budget:

  • June, July, and August are high season in the Southport area. To get the best rental home within your budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Southport attractions. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Southport area magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.   • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and scan for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition.
