On The Rocks is a condo in the Sunskipper community of Carolina Beach that offers one-of-a-kind ocean vistas and a community pool.

Plenty of windows and natural light in this open floorplan offer ocean vistas from the roomy living area. Step out onto the oceanfront deck and immerse yourself in the sounds of the sea crashing on the rocks below. This is the ideal spot to catch the sunrise.
The Queen bedroom suite includes a private full bathroom, private deck, and intelligent TV with streaming options. The bunk bedroom offers a Twin over Twin Bunk and an additional Twin bed. The full bathroom off the hallway includes a tub/shower combo and a washer and dryer.

Head down to the boardwalk for the seasonal fireworks, charter a fishing trip at the close by marina, or visit the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher. Carolina Beach offers something for all your friends and family to experience!

Two unassigned parking spot are allowed underneath the building and passes are required to be displayed at all times. Please do not block the other unit's cars in when parking. No additional parking passes can be included due to strict HOA rules and regulations. Any additional cars must park in paid public parking.

**PROVIDED: WIFI, completely outfitted kitchen, paper goods and ALL linens, including all linens + bath + beach towels to save you the hassle/cost of renting them separately ($200-300+ value)! When you arrive, beds will be made with crisp, fresh linens and complete sets of fluffy towels will be available. Beach chairs, cooler and body boards are also available for guest use.

You must be 25 years or older to rent this property.

Please notify our office if you're planning to bring a pet as the following pet policy will apply: A max. of 2 family pets are allowed. ONLY DOGS ARE ACCEPTED. The pet fee is $200 plus tax per pet. A pet fee will be added after booking. No dogs are allowed without prior approval and payment of a non-returnable pet fee, per pet. Undisclosed dogs will incur a minimum $300 fine plus tax. Violation of our 2-pet max. policy will incur a minimum of $300 plus tax charge, per pet, plus the tenant will be in material breach of the lease, and grounds for eviction will apply. The pet must be removed from the premises immediately, and your reservation may be canceled with no refund given.

**Please note:  All service animals & emotional support animals must be disclosed at the time of booking to allow the agent to collect records and documentation to support the request in accordance with all state and federal laws. A pet fee will NOT be charged for true Service Animals.**

No pets are allowed on the beach strand from April 1 through September 30. Family Animals must be on a leash if on the beach strand from October 1 through March 31.

All reservations are required to have a signed rental agreement on file that will be emailed to you after booking. Once you've booked your stay, you will have 48 hrs. to complete the rental agreement to confirm your stay. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if the rental agreement is not finished within 48hrs.

About the Area

Located in Carolina Beach, this condo is on the beach. Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Legion Stadium are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Cape Fear National at Brunswick Forest and The Clubs at St. James. Carolina Beach Boardwalk and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Finding the best rental value:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer time is high season in the Southport area. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring months is a great way to save on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses.
