THE HOME
You will stay in a appealing, refreshed 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with an open floor plan and a generous balcony overlooking the ocean. This entire comfortable home has been entirely updated to offer modern convenience while maintaining classic coastal appeal.

The kitchen is thoughtfully equiped with updated appliences and plenty of casserole dishes, baking sheets, cutting boards, etc.

Each bedroom is outfitted with clean, cozy beds and a dresser or bureau. The master has a queen bed. The second bedroom offers one queen and one twin. The third bedroom offers one queen and a twin bunkbed.

Both bathrooms offer showers. An additional hot & cold water shower with a dressing room is located under the home.

In addition to central AC, ceiling fans are placed in the living room and each bedroom. For spring and fall guests who prefer to leave the windows open, box fans are located in the closets.

OUTSIDE
The ample deck leads directly to the beach path and dunes. The private shower is located at the bottom of the steps. For additional sand-rinsing convenience, there are hoses located at the top of the stairs and in the covered parking area.

The home is on stilts, and the space underneath the home provides s sheltered patio to hang out, gear up, and play. The "sandbox," under the balcony provides additional sheltered play space, where you will find hooks for your travel hammock, or you can hang the red and orange hammock in the master bedroom closet (just remember to shake off the sand and put it away before you leave).

Paved parking is also available below the home and in the paved driveway.


WI-FI and TELEVISION
You will find intelligent TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. Wifi is available.

LINENS
We provide quilts, pillows, bath mats, and kitchen cloths & towels. You will need to bring, add-on, or rent bed linens and bathroom towels/ cloths. (You will find a tote bin with some additional sheets and towels. If you use them, you must launder them and return them to the bin.)

ADD-ON LINENS PACKAGE
$125: Bedroom and bathroom linens. Arrive to find sheets already on the beds. Before departure, you will need to strip beds, have sheets washed and in the dryer, and have towels running in the washing machine. Message me with your add-on request.

BEACH GEAR & BIKES
The Shibumi shade is hanging by the door. We provide a selection of beach chairs and sand and water toys. Please note that beach chairs will show wear. We replace them often, but they hang outside in the salt air.

You will find bicycles under the home. Chain oil and a tire pump are under the kitchen sink. BYO helmets. When you take out the bicycles, you agree to ride at your own risk. We replace bicycles often, but as with the beach chairs, expect wear from the salt air.

We do not provide a grille.

This home is kid friendly! Kids table and chairs, indoor toys, sand toys, and kids's books are included.
Oak Island’s splash pad is open during summer months, and the Ocean Education and Nature Center are both complimentary and interesting for kids and adults during the summer season.

NEARBY
Walking/ cycling distance to Middleton Park and Splash Park, Pickle Ball/Tennis Courts, Farmer's Mkt and COMPLIMENTARY Friday nighttime Summer Concerts, fishing piers on the ocean and Davis Creek. Excellent nature trail and boardwalk over Davis Creek and the marsh, leading to the Recreation Center and the main road.

Oak Island has great fishing with charter boat services. Plenty of eateries and fast food chains close by. Lowes, Food Lion and Publix is located 3-5 miles from this home. Super Walmart is located in Southport. Miniature golf, Oak Island Golf Club, parks, community center and many fun activities throughout the island, including the Nature Center (complimentary) and Ocean Education Center (complimentary).


Vacation Rental By Owner damage protection insurance does NOT cover a renter's lost vacation week, including mandatory evacuations. Renters may, of course, purchase their own vacay insurance. We will handle hurricane evacuation situations on a case-by-case basis.

SEA TURTLES
OKI is a nesting ground for sea turtles from May-October. Please keep porch and under-home lights off at nighttime as possible. We hope you will visit a nest during its hatching time. Look for the green runways. Nest volunteers are identifiable by their t-shirts and arrive at the nests around sunset. Learn more about nests at the Ocean Education Center.
