Snuggle into our high-end soft furnishings with a favorite book, or inhale the ocean breezes from your private, eighth-floor balcony. Embrace your culinary spirit in our beautiful open kitchen with new cabinets, granite countertops, and upgraded appliances and fixtures. Our elegantly decorated and luxuriously appointed condo is sure to be your Beach Retreat destination for years to come. With high-speed internet throughout the condo and Cable TV, you are set for luxury when you're off the sand. 



The Oceanfront Pelican Watch community is a next-door walk to the locally appreciated Ocean Grille and Tiki Bar. Get your exercise in the indoor community pool, or at the outdoor pool in Summer. Our boardwalk to the beach is shared only with other community guests. The building is served by an elevator. Downstairs, there is an indoor pool and spa. Another pool lies outside along with a grilling and picnic area ideal for outdoor entertaining. The guest parking lot is across the street, but you may temporarily stop your car near the elevator lobby to unload your car and drop off guests. Around-the-clock security helps residents, visitors, and their guests feel safe at all times. Pelican Watch offers residents an simple walk, jog, bicycle, or drive to either beach pier, as it is midway between the Carolina Beach Boardwalk and the Kure Beach Pier. Pelican Watch is an magnificant community whose level of amenities and features makes it one of the best in the condo complexes in the area.



Ground Level:

Eleven Story condo complex, Elevator, Outdoor Stairwells at each end of the building, complimentary dedicated parking lot with overflow lot, lobby, indoor pool, hot tub, exercise center, outdoor pool, event sun deck, beach boardwalk. Two Charcoal Grills in the yard area.



Property Level: 

Primary Bedroom Suite: Oceanfront, TV with Roku, King bed, ceiling fan, private access to the patio. Ensuite Bathroom with vanity, walk-in shower.

Guest Bedroom 1: Queen bed, TV with Roku, ceiling fan.

Guest Bedroom 2: Twin bed with twin trundle bed, TV with Roku.

Full Bathroom: vanity, walk-in shower.

Kitchen: Entirely equipped kitchen with microwave, blender, Keurig, toaster, and more: seating for 2 at the bar.

Dining Room: seating for 4 at the table, soft-sided dining chairs.

Living Room: Oceanfront, Intelligent TV, 2 sectional couches, 3 side chairs, coffee table.

Balcony: New wicker furnishings on the balcony, access from the living room and master bedroom. Overlooks the ocean.

Full-size washer and dryer to accommodate tons of beach towels.



Parking: 2 Parking passes supplied: Parking lot available across the street



Linens - Beds will be made with clean sheets, bath towels will be laying on the end of the beds, bathmats supplied in each bathroom, kitchen towel and dish sponge included. (Guest will need to make any trundle, couch beds, or top bunk beds.) 



Rental Policies:

In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.



Things to bring:

Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.



Arrival/Departure:

Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm

Check-out is by 10 am. 

We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette events, sororities/fraternities

Elevator Policies:

Please note, the elevator is for convenience only and does not guarantee ADA Compliance or Wheelchair accessibility. Although elevators are checked on a regular basis, Sea Coast Units/Owners will not be held accountable if the elevator is not operating or functioning properly during your stay. No refunds will be issued for these closures. 



Pool Notice:

Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Units/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.



Pet Policy:

No family pets allowed.



Cancellation Policy:

We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund.  If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or appreciate a calming ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a cozy little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famed Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, appreciating the ocean vistas, or enjoying a drink by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Annual off-season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.

The Neighborhood:

Sea Coast Input - Carolina Beach boardwalk offers shopping, locally owned eateries , ice cream & fudge stores and let’s not forget the vibrant nightlife. During the summer months the local gazebo has live music and bingo. Fishing charter boats, nightly event cruises, pontoon boats are also available. Or discover the Carolina Beach State Park. Neighboring Kure beach offers a impressive downtown with locally owned eateries ,Oceanfront park and a 712-foot long fishing pier. Fort Fisher is located at the southern end of the island where you can visit the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum and the North Carolina Aquarium. There are roughly 10 golf courses within a 1 hour drive and for those “historic” buffs, take a day trip to Downtown Wilmington or one of the other local islands via ferry.



Getting Around:

Sea Coast Input : Parking may be limited during the summer months (public parking is available through Pleasure Island at an hourly rate).

Carolina / Kure Beach is effortlessly navigable once you're here. Our beach towns are very accessible and family friendly for cars, bicycles and golf carts. Renting bicycles and golf carts is a breeze with the many rental companies on the island. Advance reservations are recommended beach accessories. Escape the hustle and bustle of the beaches of Carolina/Kure Beach and discover the Carolina Beach state park and its’ many hiking trails. Or the Carolina Beach Greenway walking trail.

For a day trip travel from Ft. Fisher to Southport aboard the Southport Car Ferry and their many antique stores.
