Pleasure Island (Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, and Fort Fisher) has become a RAPIDLY increasing vacation (and full-time!) destination for the East coast and beyond for many reasons. It’s a family-aligned beach with a touch of everything one might be looking for! It’s an AMAZING place to visit, live, and never leave!
The home lies directly in the middle of the North End of Carolina Beach and is a long walk or short drive from downtown Carolina Beach and everything that is has to offer. In Carolina Beach you’ve got the boardwalk, eateries, and local stores of all kinds. If you like adventures, the marina is also there where you can take an offshore fishing trip, diving excursion, or event boat out for a sunset sail. Camping more your thing? Bring the 4X4 and drive (and camp) on the beach at Freeman Park, located on the North End of the island. You can also head down to Kure Beach and fish directly off their fishing pier complete with bait, tackles, and more!
Take the staircase or private elevator to the first floor which features a kids room (bedroom #1) with ONE (1) Queen size bed and its own private East facing balcony. Bedroom #2 sits just down the hall with ONE (1) Queen bed of its own, an ensuite bathroom (#1) with shower stall, and its own dose of Eastern facing salty balcony breezes! Another bedroom (#3) with ONE (1) Queen bed and bathroom #2 with a tun AND shower round out story one of your sandcastle!
Take the elevator up to the next level where Master bedroom (#4) with ONE (1) King size bed, a private Eastern facing balcony, and ensuite bathroom (#3) with separate shower and tub await! Bedroom #5 with ONE (1) Queen + Queen bunk awaits down the hall with Western vistas and its own private ensuite bathroom (bathroom # 4 with a separate shower and tub). The winner of your very own "pac-man" tournament can determine who sets the dinner table!
Take your personal elevator up to the top floor where a really remarkable space awaits! A modern kitchen that's furnished with granite counter tops, stainless appliances, and a mini-bar reside amongst other opulent upgrades. Behind you sits another half bath (Bathroom #5). Back through the hallways sits the family room complete with a fireplace and intelligent TV for entertaining, along with a final balcony complete with "peek-a-boo" vistas of the Atlantic!
A few of the amenities included by your Owners include courtesy huge shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel left in the bathroom of each bath as well. Also, a roll of TP in each bathroom, 1 roll of PT in the kitchen, 2 garbage bags per garbage, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, dryer sheets, hand soap, dish soap, a sponge, coffee, tea, and pure cane sugar in each kitchen.
The home's TWO (2) Twin bunk sets with TWO (2) trundles, TWO (2) Queen beds, and TWO (2) King beds consist of either a plush luxury bed or a new encased memory foam/cooling gel bed because we want all of our guests to be comfortable when it comes time to recharge!
There are Intelligent TV's in EVERY bedroom and living room along with a WIFI computer connection (bring your own login info to use for the supplied APPS) for when it's time to sit back and appreciate some movies or shows after a long day at the beach!
Guest access
The HOME: Guests have full access to their own private HOME (never shared) along with a respective carport, balconies, yard.
PARKING: Each reservation will have access to (3-4) assigned carport parking spaces (dependent upon car size)!
The YARD: Guests have full access to their private and entirely fenced backyard.
BOAT LAUNCH and PRIVATE DOCK: Guests have full access to the shared DOCK/LAUNCH (only shared with the buildings other neighbor as well as guests of the Owners residence 1 block North where the dock is located.
•Closest BEACH access: Scotch Bonnet Public Beach Access (Scotch Bonnet Lane).

•Salt Water Real Estate has partnered with the absolute best vendors our Island has to offer to help ensure guests can spend more time appreciating themselves and less time researching! Our partners include the Tony Silvagni Surf School for professional surf lessons, bicycle, umbrella and chair units, Hot Ticket Fishing Charters, Salty Dog Yoga, Amy’s Rise N Shine, and Griffin Cleaning and linens.
•Linens (Sheets, bath towels, wash cloths pillowcases, wash cloths, bathmats) ARE included as part of the rental here (excluding beach towels which can be rented through scrubandgo@griffinscleaning dot org. If requiring additional or non-supplied linens, please reach out to Griffin Cleaning Services who is a partner with SWRE and will assist in any way possible! Please make sure all linens are placed in the basket or hamper before your departure! Please let all BED LINENS on the beds remain on the beds for our TEAM to take care of!

Carolina Beach
•The Town of Carolina Beach offers multiple public parking options to visitors and residents on a FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE basis. Town-operated parking is open year round and paid parking is enforced March 1st - October 31st from 9AM - 8PM. Parking costs restart each morning during enforcement hours for all of the Town's parking tons and on-street parking spaces.

GOLF CARTS
•To the county, golf carts are considered automobiles. Generally speaking, golf carts are NOT allowed on premises of ANY condo, condotel, or apartment. The same goes for trailers, motorbikes, etc. For SFR’s or properties supporting multiple cars, carts should be OK. However, be conscious that few homes have external outlets WITHOUT GFCI’S (which are code by today’s standards). Charging a cart on a GFCI will immediately trip the breaker, resulting in the inability to charge a cart amongst other repercussions. Gas carts will generally be the ideal rental option if in a home whose parking supports such.
•The home is non-smoking (including vaping) and a heavy cleaning/repair charge can result if not adhered to. This includes porches, decks, balconies, and walkways.
•There is a $150 non-returnable pet fee for up to 2 pups.
•April 1st through September 30th, dogs are allowed on the Carolina Beach during restricted hours of BEFORE 9:00 am and AFTER 5:00 pm. On the extreme North End of Carolina Beach, dogs are allowed on leash 24/7 on leash. In Kure Beach, dogs are NOT allowed at any juncture. Fort Fisher accepts dogs on leash on the beach 24/7.
Pup rules for Pet Friendly homes
•Pups are NEVER allowed on any furnishings. (*Single biggest added charge from the cleaners/owners post stay.)
•Do NOT let your pup bark excessively in any multi-unit environment.

Located in Carolina Beach, this vacation home is in the city center and on a lake. Carolina Beach Boardwalk is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. Traveling with kids?
