Welcome to Sea Colony 22B! This little oceanfront condo has everything you need for a beach vacation – oceanfront, pool access, and a great location! We have a one bedroom condo with a bunk bed niche and couch bed. Cute and comfortable furnishings create a cheerful home to come back to after a day at the beach. Meals at home are a snap, with plenty of space to store your food in generous cabinet space. New, sturdy dining table and chairs on the balcony ar ready for your outdoor meals. Or, if you really want to eat out on the surf, walk afew steps up the sand to the Ocean Grille and Tiki Bar!

Long known as an economical Oceanfront Community, Sea Colony offers one of the most cavernous and lush grounds than you will find in any other Oceanfront complex and features a pretty oceanfront pool and private walkway to the beach. Sliding glass doors with a full front winow wall create indoor-outdoor living space in the family room. You will adore spending time on the sizable 9x15 balcony while you feast your eyes on the lavish Atlantic Ocean. Savor the community gazebo, oceanfront pool, and excellent landscaping with broad green lawns. The location has painless access on and off the island, avoiding heavy season traffic by using Dow Rd. Ample lighted parking for 2 cars in the parking area requires a completely displayed parking pass at all times. The HOA does check frequently during the season in order to protect your right to park there as a guest. Vehicles not displaying a pass will be towed.

 Rental Policies:

In response to increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

 Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-Ins (June-August) begin at 4:00 pm and are guaranteed by 6:00 pm
Off Season Check-Ins begin at 3:00 pm and are guaranteed by 5:00 pm
Check-Out is by 10:00 am
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early early or plan to delay your departure.

Hard Key Lock Entry. You will need to stop by our office to pick up a key.

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re rented. If premises are re rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee.

Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or appreciate a calming ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a cozy little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famed Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, appreciating the ocean vistas, or enjoying a beverage by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

Explore the treasures of Carolina Beach, ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine. One of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, it includes a variety of eateries, arcade, stores, ice cream, Famous Britts Donuts, bars, and more! During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Rent a Jeep, bicycle, or golf cart as the most convenient ways to navigate the island. Annual off- season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.

About the Area

Located in Carolina Beach, this condo is on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and popular attractions include Carolina Beach Boardwalk and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher. Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School and Tregembo Animal Park are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Sticking to your budget:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.

Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.

  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at departure. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property a final time and scan for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a wonderful vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear about it.
