There are beach chairs, beach tent, fishing gear, body boards, coolers and many other items for your use in the shed. There is a private outdoor shower to get the sand off. There are usually two to five bicycles in the shed. There are games, cards, guitar, and TV's in all the bedrooms and living room. All T.V.s have access to regular channels and streaming services. There is a wire dog kennel and infant gate for your use. There is a propane grille and charcoal grille.
Everything, and I mean everything, is a short walk away in this peaceful neighborhood. There are eateries, bars, grocery store, ice cream, liquor store, fishing pier, boat ramp, and of course THE BEACH.
There is no cleaning, pet, or linen fee. We only ask that barking outside is kept down when the pooches are outside.
About the Area
Located on a river, this vacation home is in Tranquil Harbour, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Oak Island Lighthouse and Bald Head Island Lighthouse are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Oak Island Golf Club and Founders Club at St. James Plantation. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
