When to visit & When to reserve a Southport rental home:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC.   • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Just before checking out, complete a final walk-through to make sure you didn't forget anything. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property a final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition.
