Fins & Skins, a enormous, privately owned, Canal home located on the East end of the island. Interior amenities include WIFI, washer, dryer, dishwasher, coffee maker, central heating & air, 3 color cable TVs, DVD player, ceiling fans. Exterior amenities include outside shower, screened porch, sundeck, covered porch, dock. The 3rd bathroom for this property is located downstairs and is not accessible through the home. (You must go outside to access this bathroom). Nightly units require a departure maid service. This is stringently a ***NON SMOKING*** & ***NON PET FRIENDLY*** home. HOME IS NOT EQUIPPED FOR ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING. OWNER DOES NOT ALLOW USE OF FIRE PIT OR PERMANENT GRILL.

When to go & When to book:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Booking a rental in Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties.
  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
