The Lazy Pelican is a huge, handsome home on the west end of Sunset Beach.  A unique gem to the island, this home features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and second living area, providing plenty of space for your family. The reversed floorplan is a striking feature, making sure you get the best possible vistas from the main living areas. Every detail of this home is designed to maximize comfort and enjoyment.  If you aren't ready to come indoors after a long day at the beach, you can appreciate calming by your own private pool and tiki bar.  You will also adore the outside decks for sun bathing or just appreciating the view.  The pool can be heated in the off season for an additional fee,  please contact the office for details.

This is a Linen Ready home – bath towels, kitchen towels and bathmats will be included at no charge, and the beds will be made with linen upon arrival.

Get the best rental value:

• June, July, and August are high season in Sunset Beach. To find the best rental for your budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Southport attractions.
• Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Some hosts and property managers offer special rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
• Property managers typically offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses.
