The space
Our home was constructed in 1860 and we have just done a complete remodel converting it back in to a single family residence (it has been a law office for the last 40 years). The open kitchen and living room are unique to a home from this era. Plenty of room for a family gathering. 2 Master bedrooms. One on each floor. Each has its own private bathroom. A "Kid" bedroom has 2 bunk beds, one with a double bed and the other with a full size bed trundle. It also has a sleeper couch. A great home for a family reunion, bridal event, college reunion, or two couples with their kids. There is also futon (and an option for an air bed) in the downstairs front library if your group needs more space.

• Go through the property a final time and look for damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
• Did you have a terrific time? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
