You'll be on the highest spot on the island so nothing will obstruct the breath taking 360 degree view of the crystal clear blue ocean, white sandy beaches, intra-coastal waterway or the elegant sound filled with wildlife. You can appreciate kayaking, paddle boarding, claming, crabbing & fishing off the PRIVATE dock which is located behind the bungalow. You have your own walk way down to the dock. There is also a sitting area which is a great area to gather. You are directly across the street from a beach path. So you have the best of both worlds. You can get to the beach but only the lucky families that have their own boat dock can get to the sound & enjoy all that it has to offer.
Simple living is what figure 8 Island is all about.There are only single family homes on Figure 8 & nothing commercial. It is only 3 miles to shopping & eateries. This way you have the island to yourself, no hordes, no noise except the waves lapping the beach or a bird singing. Savor cycling the island, best way to see the island. The road ways on the island are residential, neighborhood streets. NO highways, no 3-4 lane roads & no traffic lights. You just slow down & enjoy a slower pace of life.
