Located in the award-winning community of Flora's Bluff, this two-bedroom/2.5-bath oceanfront bungalow beckons you to relax to ocean lullabies on its covered porch swing, dine alfresco-style on the screened porch and appreciate BHI's South Beach via a private beach boardwalk and access. Inside you'll savor the open living space featuring wood floors, bright, natural light and a mounted 65 inch flat screen intelligent TV. The close by dining area features a table that conveniently accommodates six and the adjacent kitchen gleams with quartz countertops, wine refrigerator, bar seating, and loads of counter space. There's also a additional sunroom with an additional 50-inch intelligent TV that is the ideal spot for movies, comfortable conversations or a fast nap.

Upstairs the Owner's Suite features a King bed, a spa-like bath and a private balcony with impressive ocean vistas-an ideal place for morning coffee, dolphin watching or late nighttime stargazing. The second suite offers two Queen beds and a private full bath. Bonnie Dune's additional amenities include: WIFI, a Bluetooth home stereo system, games and reading library, beach chairs/beach umbrella, outdoor shower, outdoor gas grille, fenced backyard and a six-passenger golf cart. Convenient access to WWP's 24/7 Property Manager Assistance so that you can reach needed help even after hours or on weekends. One dog allowed (unless pre-approval granted) for a required additional non-returnable $300 fee. This property does not provide bicycles however they can be rented on the island. Located on the beach, this vacation home is in South Beach, a neighborhood in Bald Head Island.   • Reserve your vacation in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers often offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.

  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • Upon check-out, complete a final walk-through to confirm you didn't forget anything. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on great reviews to propel new bookings. They'll be grateful for your review.
