Inside, the home’s open concept living and dining area exudes warmth and history, comfortably furnished with period pieces that evoke a bygone era while offering comfortable spots for movie nights and family conversations. The sizable dining table is ready to host everything from big seafood feasts to board game tournaments, seating up to ten guests with ease. A constructed-in workstation in the corner provides a peaceful space for catching up on emails or journaling your beachside memories. While the kitchen is modest, it’s entirely supplied and functional, offering everything you need to prepare and gather at home.

Four bedrooms and two full bathrooms are located on the main floor, each with its own unique style and character. Downstairs, with a separate entrance via the carport, you’ll find the fifth guest bedroom and a private bath—an ideal setup for extended family or guests who prefer additional privacy.

Cancellation Policy: Full refund within 24 hours of booking, cancellations at 31+ days before check-in will receive a full refund after a $350 cancellation fee is deducted, cancellations at 15-30 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund of monies paid less a $350 cancellation fee and less than 15 days prior to arrival is not subject to a refund. All policies are subject to possible additional refund based on re-rental, excluding non-returnable cancellation costs and travel insurance (if applicable).

When to book & When to go:

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer time is high season in the Southport area. Reserve your Southport rental property in Spring or Fall to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.

  • Walk through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host isn't available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition.
