Welcome to one of the best locations on the island. Located just two short blocks (less than a 5 min. walk) from the beach within walking distance of a few eateries, and just a short drive (or 15 min. beach walk) to downtown Carolina beach. The Big Snapper is an upstairs apartment of a duplex, that is completely separate from the downstairs unit.

We are dog friendly ($50/ dog). You are responsible for cleaning up after them and assuring they do not disturb the downstairs tenants

About the Area

Pet friendly and two blocks to the beach is located in Carolina Beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Kure Beach, while Carolina Beach Boardwalk and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are popular area attractions. Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School and Tregembo Animal Park are also worth visiting.
