POOL HEATING NOTE AND LIMITS: This unit has pool heating capabilities during the months of mid-March through mid-May & Labor Day through October. Pool heating is no additional cost to guests who visit during these timeframes and the pool will be heated upon arrival, weather permitting (rain and low temperatures will impact the ability to heat the pool. The heater can only bring the pool temperature 10-15 degrees above the lowest temperature of the day).

About the Area

Located in Carolina Beach, this vacation home is on the beach. Ocean Front Park and Fort Fisher State Historic Site are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at The Clubs at St. James and Southport Marina. Carolina Beach Boardwalk and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to book a Southport rental home & When to go:

Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • To book the most suitable vacation home within your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Southport restaurants, tours, and activities.
  • Some owners offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses.
