We are located on the beautiful, peaceful West Beach, but only a short distance to many of the Island sweet spots!
Middleton Park (kid friendly water park and playground, Farmer’s Market, and Summer Concerts in the Park), Pepperoni Grille (great pizza!), the canal at 40th street (enjoy crabbing and fishing), the Island Way restaurant (a treat for outdoor drinks and dining) and the 9th Street Pier (great for fishing), and more! When to reserve a Southport rental & When to go:

  • In the Southport area, The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
  • Summer is the most expensive season in coastal NC. To find the most suitable rental home for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Some hosts offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the property to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on good ratings to drive more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback.
