Additionally, the Bald Head Island ferry system is independently operated and not affiliated with BHI Vacations. To ensure a smooth arrival and departure, we encourage guests to book ferry and tram reservations well in advance.

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To get the best value, consider shifting your family's Southport vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer great weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.
