Take your next calming vacation at "Seabbatical" on Bald Head Island. This brand new 6 Bedroom 4.5 Bath home is located right in the Live Oaks of the Maritime Forest. This floor plan offers great space for the whole family. The downstairs has the living room, kitchen and enormous screened in porch. The master King bedroom is also downstairs with its own bathroom with a walk in shower and two huge vanities. Upstairs has a king master with an on-suite bathroom then another 2 queen bedrooms with a shared bath and through the breezeway is a ideal kids living room/playroom along with two more bedrooms, one with two twin bunk beds and another with two twins with a shared bathroom. Live Oak trail is located in the middle of the island close to all of the great amenities including the maritime market and stores. Come "Sea" Us in our new home on Live Oak Trail!

When to visit Bald Head Island & When to book:

  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Summer time is high season in Bald Head Island. Booking your Southport vacation home in the Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers often offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses.
