The Sunsetter sits right across the bridge onto Wrightsville Beach overlooking Banks Channel and is just steps from the beach.  It has been uniquely refreshed with one of a kind finishes and tasteful interior design, paying homage to the building's history while bringing it up to date with a Malibu surf style feel!  It has quickly become one of Wrightsville Beach’s most exclusive stays with its biggest attraction being the nearly 800sq.ft. entirely turfed private rooftop deck.

Getting Around:
1 Town of Wrightsville Beach parking pass will be on the counter at check-in. Rules and regulations for parking will be on the back side of the pass.
Paid parking is enforced from 03/01-10/31, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily at the rate of $5.00 per hour.

1. NO assigned parking- One WB parking pass supplied.

Booking the best vacation property experience:

Find your best deal:

  • In the Southport area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Southport area. Booking in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitors guides contain offers and deals for nearby shops and restaurants.

Planning, selecting, and booking the right Southport rental:

  • Start by selecting your a vacation week and a spending budget.
  • Note the number beds and the bed configuration your family requires. The Sunsetter by WB Abodes has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, call the property manager before you reserve the vacation property. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to determine what is right for your group.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the owner about pets before booking.
  • If there's a particular Southport destination you love, search for properties that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your phone.

  • Lock your rental property while you're gone! Don't let thieves spoil your trip.
  • Make a record of any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately send them to the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be beneficial if there is a dispute.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your life at home. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would've never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Just prior to departing, complete a final walk-through to make sure you didn't forget anything. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the host isn't available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent feedback to propel future reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation rental.
