Winds VI 3C is the quintessential Oceanfront condo in Carolina Beach Units

Rents Saturday to Saturday for weekly stays.

There’s no substitute for being right on the oceanfront! Savor every breakfast with the waves rolling in below you and ocean breezes on your face.  Even your guests will be able to have a private cup of coffee from their own bedroom balcony with island view.  Run back and forth to the beach numerous times a day on our private boardwalk, or frolic in our oceanfront pool when you need a break from the sand. You’ll be comfortable and comfortable in our soft furnishings and fresh linens, and have all the essentials you need to prepare or do laundry from home. If you want a meal out, you’re only a block from Stoked, or two and a half blocks from Sea Witch. A day on the boardwalk is only a four block walk! Surf, Sand, and fun are yours for the taking at Winds VI 3C, where beach memories are waiting for you.

One car may park under building. Second car may park in First-Come-First Serve lot.
Recommended that bigger cars seek paid parking lot off site.
This is monitored by the HOA and you must adhere to these rules. For additional parking options please visit the Town of Carolina Beach website. Parking for this building is Tandem: sharing the parking stall with others in the building. Vehicles must be tagged with contact info for rearrangment.

Rental Policies:

In response to increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check Ins (June-August) begin at 4pm and are guaranteed by 6pm
Off Season Check Ins begin at 3pm and are guaranteed by 5pm
Check Out is by 10 AM.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early early or plan to delay your departure.

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re rented. If premises are re rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee.

Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or appreciate a calming ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a cozy little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famed Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, appreciating the ocean vistas, or enjoying a drink by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

Explore the treasures of Carolina Beach, ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine. One of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, it includes a variety of eateries, arcade, stores, ice cream, Famous Britts Donuts, bars, and more! During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Rent a Jeep, bicycle, or golf cart as the most convenient ways to navigate the island. Annual off- season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.

About the Area

Located in Carolina Beach, this condo is on the beach. Ocean Front Park and Fort Fisher State Historic Site are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Legion Stadium and Brunswick Town Historic District. Carolina Beach Boardwalk and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

How to get the best rental value:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Reserve your rental property in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Southport visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines have coupons for local accommodations, tours and attractions.

Selecting the perfect vacation home in Carolina Beach:

  • Select your dates and budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. 20% off any reservation between March 1 - April 30 has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is almost always available on booking pages. If not, contact the property management company before you reserve the home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches. You will need to work out what bed configuration is optimal for your vacation family.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and some don't. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask your host about your furry family members before booking.
  • If there's a particular Southport attraction you simply love, look for homes that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental

Have a fantastic stay:

  • Be sure you get the host's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone.

  • Respect your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent feedback to inspire more reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience find their best rental home.
