Welcome to The Breakers: Out of Office! Settle into our crisp, casual condo just steps from the beach—simply cross the street and you’re on the sand. Kick back on the shady front porch with a beverage and an ocean breeze, or cool off in the marsh‑side community pool. You’re right at the casual north end of the island near Freeman Park. Wander over to Lo Tide Tiki Bar or walk/bicycle 1.5 miles to the Boardwalk for eateries, bars, stores, and music. With beach renourishment finishing soon and the Carolina Beach Pier buzzing again, the north end is better than ever for laid‑back days and salty‑air nights.

Rental Policies:

In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.



Things to bring:

Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.



Arrival/Departure:

Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm.

Check-out is by 10 am. 

We adhere to this policy, so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.



Guest Access:

Hard key.



House Rules:

No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette events, sororities/fraternities.

No smoking.

You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.



Pool Notice:

Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Units/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.



Pet Policy:

Dogs Accepted. Owner will allow up to 2 dogs, 75lbs Total Max. The first dog is supplied in the price of the Rental. Subsequent dogs are subject to an additional payment and restrictions! Carolina and Kure Beaches are pet-friendly, but you must follow town guidelines. Please check the town website for beach pet restrictions.



Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund.  If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Adventure awaits on Pleasure Island. Exploring the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, home to striking coastal wildlife, or take the spectacular car ferry across the Cape Fear River for a calming visit to the appealing town of Southport where cozy streets are filled with unique antique stores and galleries. History lovers can walk the breathtaking, live‑oak‑lined trails of the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, where Civil War bunkers still stand. Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the island’s two state‑managed coastal preserves: Carolina Beach State Park, home to rare Venus flytraps found naturally only in this region, and the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, known for pristine beaches, marshes, and wildlife viewing. Both offer handsome opportunities for hiking, paddling, fishing, and spotting pelicans or even nesting loggerhead sea turtles.



After a day outdoors, relax on your private balcony with a sunset drink, or head into town to discover the best of Carolina Beach. The Carolina Beach Boardwalk, ranked one of the Top 10 Boardwalks in the U.S. by Food & Wine, features classic oceanside fun—local eateries, an arcade, ice cream stores, bars, and the famed Britt’s Donuts. In summer, appreciate weekly fireworks and live entertainment, carnival rides, family nights, and Flamingo BINGO. Off‑season brings signature island events like the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival. Getting Around:

Getting around Pleasure Island is a breeze! While parking can be limited in peak season, especially in trendy spots, paid private or public parking is available. We recommend exploring Carolina Beach and Kure Beach on foot or by bicycle – they're super walkable and bicycle-friendly. You'll find safe pedestrian and bicycle routes, including the Island Greenway. Renting a golf cart or bicycle is painless, too, with numerous local rental companies. Golf carts are one of the easiest ways to cruise around the island. Units are simple to arrange, and once you're behind the wheel, you can zip along any road posted 35 mph or under.
