This vacation rental welcomes up to two dogs per reservation year-round.

Three FSTVs (55in in the living room, 36" in the master bedroom, 24" in the second bedroom), one CCTV, two DVD players, wireless high-speed internet access, books, games, puzzles, and gourmet kitchen. Deck and screened porch with furnishings, picnic bench, enclosed outdoor shower with hot and Cold, Smoker and charcoal grille, and huge backyard with marsh view. Walking distance to restaurant and convenience store at Ocean Crest Pier. Beach access 200 ft. Two Family Animals allowed.

How to get the best rental home value:

  • Summer is high season in Oak Island. To get the best value, change your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property managers often offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses.   • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Just prior to departing, complete a walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent feedback to stimulate new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback.
