THE LOCATION
Holden Beach NC is the ideal spot to savor a coastal vacation. With its white, sandy beaches and gorgeous sunsets, it is no surprise that Holden was voted one of America’s top 10 family beaches. With Big Kahuna's front and back decks, you are guaranteed striking vistas from both levels. This property is located on the canal and has its own private dock. It is only a short 6-min. walk to the beach. You can appreciate ocean vistas from the kitchen table, top floor decks, crow's nest and living room!
PROPERTY DETAILS
This property comes completely outfitted with all the amenities you will need to have a comforting and calming vacation. Conveniences begin with covered parking and lighting for up to 4 cars. There is a private pool (pool heating option available for an additional cost, please see "Important Information" for more details), tiki bar and outdoor shower. Intelligent TVs are located in every bedroom and in the main living areas on both floors. The first floor includes a den and wet bar. The elevator goes to all levels making this property handicap friendly. All Stellar Beach units include bed and bath linens for all stays. This home has keyless entry. To make your stay with us feel a little more like home, this property includes a propane gas grille. Additionally, this home comes with six (6) beach chairs for you and your event to utilize at your leisure.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Pool heating is an additional $80 per nighttime with a 3 nighttime minimum. If you would like pool heating please let us know at the time of booking or at least 30 days prior to your stay. *Please note pool heating is only available between October 1st – May 15th.*
Boat lift is not available for use.
Pre-approval is required for events under age 30.
Smoking is not allowed at any Stellar Beach property.
Family Animals are not allowed at this property.
Fire pits and deep fryers are not allowed for use at this property due to the safety hazards they pose.

CANCELLATION POLICY
You may cancel any reservation and receive a full refund of all amounts paid if you notify Stellar Beach in writing (by e-mail or letter) of your intention to cancel the reservation at least ninety (90) days prior to the check-in date. In the event that you cancel your reservation within ninety (90) days of your check-in date, for any or no reason, (including the failure to pay the final payment due 90 days before the stay), including inclement weather, you shall not be eligible for a refund of any payments made to Stellar Beach.

We offer Standard Trip Insurance which covers you 100% of Trip Cost up to $100,000 if your cancellation reasons fall within the 30+ standard cancellation reasons. The cost of Standard Trip Insurance is 7% of the total booking price. Standard Trip Insurance can be purchased up to 30 days before your stay.
We offer Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) Trip Insurance which covers you 100% of Trip Cost up to $100,000 if your cancellation reasons fall within the 30+ standard cancellation reasons (listed above) and 60% reimbursement if your cancellation reason does not fall within the 30+ standard cancellation reasons. The cost of CFAR Trip Insurance is 10.8% of the total booking price. CFAR Trip Insurance can only be purchased in the period of two weeks after your booking has been made and only if check-in is more than 30 days out.

  • Summer is high season in the Southport area. To find the best value, consider shifting your trip dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer great temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • The earlier you can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your rental home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property management companies often offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.

  • If your group is bringing pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly rental. Ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Be aware that some hosts charge additional pet fees.

  • Lock your vacation home while you are away. Protect your property!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on great ratings to stimulate new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective.
