NEW LISTING! Location, location, location… Savor unobstructed vistas of the ocean from one of the original Islander Villa units located directly across the street from the ocean in the exclusive West End of Ocean Isle Beach. Just 16 steps from the beach access, you can’t get any closer unless you rent a beach front home.

Whether appreciating an early morning cup of coffee, taking a break from the sun on the covered deck, or winding down at the end of the day, you are close enough to see and hear the waves as they crash onto shore and you'll feel the constant ocean breeze that you can only get by being so close to the water.

On average, 50% of our rental weeks are booked by returning customers who savor the great location and great condition of our vacation home. We freshly added a pub table with 4 lifeguard chairs to go with the unique Nags Head porch swing and numerous huge rocking chairs on the deck.

Renters also appreciate exclusive membership rights to The Islander Beach Club which is just 200 yards down the street. The Islander Beach Club offers a giant oceanside pool with an adjacent kiddie pool and hot tub. It also has a great outside Tiki Bar overlooking the pool and the ocean that can be appreciated throughout the day or nighttime.

Inside, the accommodations are top notch and maintained with tremendous care. In 2013 we replaced the carpet in each bedroom with new wood floors. The living room has a sizable flatscreen TV with a high def cable DVR so you can record any of your favorite shows during your stay. The dining table seats 6 comfortably and the extended kitchen counter seats an additional 5 in enormous wooden stools with high backs. Each of the four bedrooms has its own full bath w/ shower, TV and DVD player. High speed wireless internet access is included at no additional cost.

You will understand why it has been named on of the best beaches in North Carolina, and one of the best vacation spots in America.
The Islander Villas Community is on the west end of the island which has a much wider beach and is less busy than the upper end. The Islander Villas community has a very nice ocean front pool club with pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, outdoor tiki bar all on the ocean front as well as 4 community tennis courts.
Ocean Isle Beach is a south facing barrier island with 7 miles of beach on the Atlantic Ocean, located 12 miles south of the NC/SC border. Ocean Isle Beach is a much quieter and less busy island than areas like Myrtle Beach, etc. The beach is spectacular and is very wide and clean with a nice gentle slope. The island has a fishing pier, arcade, surf stores, eateries, museum, ice cream parlor, mini golf course, bicycle, jet ski, kayak, boat and golf cart units. The backside of the island has peaceful protected water great for kayaking.

Rental home tips:

How to get the best value:

  • In the Southport area, The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Reserving your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Summer months are high season in Ocean Isle Beach. To get the best rental home within budget, we recommend booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Southport restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your family qualifies for a discount.
  • Property managers often offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Look for your local Southport visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guides contain discounts for local tours, shops, and attractions.

Choosing the perfect vacation rental:

  • First and foremost, have your family agree to date ranges and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. NEW LISTING! 4 br 4 ba ocean view villa- 200 FT to beach- pool club-direct beach access has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually accessible online. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property owner before reserving your home. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to work out what configuration is best for your vacation group.
  • Traveling with pets? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or costs could be applied to your contract.
  • Are you visiting for a specific event or attraction? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .

During your stay:

  • Put the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents quite a few concerns.
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • During arrival, document any damages to the property and immediately alert the property manager. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often times, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Just prior to departing, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget anything. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to inspire more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
