Welcome to "Hang Ten" in Carolina Beach! We bought this home on our ten year wedding anniversary and poured our hearts into making it the ideal vacation destination.

Did we mention that it is brand new construction? This home is impeccable. Just because you are at the beach doesn't mean you have to stay at an old, outdated beach rental with hand-me-down furnishings. We thoughtfully designed this home with all the amenities and touches we personally look for when we travel. Our commitment to you - you and your family will LOVE your time here and make this your future vacation destination.

About the home:

Ground level:
We converted our huge garage into an entertainment space with 50″ TV, Nintendo Wii, full-size ping-pong table, upright bean bag chairs, and all the beach gear you need (chairs, body boards, Shibumi sun shade, & beach cart). You will also find beach cruisers with locks, ideal for exploring the area. The Blackstone Grille also lives on the ground level and makes the best smash burgers and breakfast tacos! If you bring along your dogs, they're sure to appreciate the fenced in backyard. And definitely treat yourself to our outdoor shower and hot tub!

Second floor:
Appreciate our open concept kitchen, dining, and living space, including a balcony ideal for sipping coffee and watching the passersby. Cozy up on our ultra-comfortable couch to stream your favorite shows and movies, or take a break from the beach with a selection of board games and a variety of puzzles to savor together. This floor also includes a king guest bedroom and a full hall bath with a tub/shower combo.

Third floor:
The primary suite offers a king bed and a private ensuite bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower, a cavernous closet, and a private balcony—ideal for peaceful moments or catching the summer fireworks every Thursday. You'll also find a desk and rolling chair, ideal for working or writing during your stay.

This level includes a queen bedroom and a bunk room with two sets of solid wood twin bunk beds (four beds total), both sharing a full hallway bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

Sleeps 10 comfortably. Approx. 1863 square feet.

Kitchen:
Ninja blender, Brita water pitcher, Bonavita drip coffee maker, Crate & Barrel dinnerware with mugs, wheat straw (non-toxic) plates/bowls/cups, stainless insulated tumblers and mugs, acrylic wine glasses, both glass & stainless mixing bowl sets (with lids), glass storage containers, Cuisinart cookware, a steam pot, stainless baking sheets, glass baking dishes, bamboo cutting boards, knife block set (actually sharp), expandable drying rack, and three stainless dog bowls (1 enormous, 2 medium).

Bedrooms:
All bedrooms have 100% cotton linens, pillows with protective covers, quilts and blankets, laundry baskets, sound machines, and reading sconces with USB-A and USB-C ports.

The king and queen guest rooms have 10” beds and 3” ventilated memory foam toppers. The king master has a 14" cooling memory foam bed. All three rooms have memory foam cooling pillows, a suitcases rack, and LED TV's.

The bunk room includes two solid wood bunk beds (4 twin beds) with 6” memory foam beds and a 2-drawer dresser. There is a 200lb weight limit for both the bottom and top bunk.

Bathrooms:
100% cotton towels, locally made toothbrush holders (Carolina Beach Market), make-up towels.

Living space:
75″ 4K intelligent TV with YouTube TV, 1 GB internet via Spectrum, board games, puzzles, tide clock, comfortable blankets and original artwork by the owner and local artists.

Beach gear:
Shibumi sun shade with wind assist, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, body boards, Bucketball, Igloo cooler bag, Wheeleez beach buggy.

Garage:
50″ LED TV, Nintendo Wii and games, full-size ping pong table, bean bag chairs and directors chairs, gas grille, 36” Blackstone grille (rent for additional charge), 5 beach cruisers (bicycle count may vary with repairs), and 2 combination bicycle locks

Backyard:
Totally fenced, sizable backyard with a deck for calming, a 6-person Aquarest hot tub and an enclosed outdoor shower

Nuna Pack-’n-Play, high chair, stainless steel toddler silverware

Guest access
Guests have full access to the entire home, garage, balconies, fenced backyard, and hot tub. Self check-in via intelligent lock after 4 PM (code sent 24 hours prior). Just a 4-min. walk to the public beach access at Spartanburg Ave.

Interaction with guests
We are super responsive and want to make sure you have an awe-inspiring stay. We have local managers ready to assist.

Neighborhood highlights
Spartanburg Ave is the ideal location: close enough to the beach for a short walk to waves, but tucked back on a peaceful, well-kept street. You are a 4 min. walk to the beach. You're less than 5 mins. by bicycle to the Boardwalk, Tiki Bar, and local favorites like the Veggie Wagon and ice cream spots. The lake and Saturday market are just a 5-min. walk. It’s 20 mins. to downtown Wilmington and the USS North Carolina. You can see the Thursday nighttime Fireworks in the summer from the top deck.

4 parking spaces in the driveway. No garage parking available.
Street parking subject to town rules.
As with all of Carolina Beach, weekday construction noise is possible between 8 AM–5 PM due to ongoing new builds.
